Prepare product data and imports

Work with verified manufacturer or supplier data and test in a safe test environment first.

Complete and review locally. Nothing is sent automatically.

[ ] Check the target schema: required fields, delimiter, encoding and permitted units.
[ ] Verify item reference and EAN against the original source; retain leading zeros as text.
[ ] Document product name, variant, pack content and sales unit clearly.
[ ] Use approved current sources for prices, taxes and mandatory information.
[ ] Test duplicates, empty required fields and import errors with a few verified records.
[ ] Prepare a backup and rollback plan; check the import result in the target system.
